We hereby inform you that Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszerek Kft., the Data Controller (hereinafter referred to as the Controller), will store and manage all personal data of you, the Data Subject (hereinafter referred to as the Subject) in the context of your registration for the Technical Training, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. Therefore, please carefully read this Data Management Notice which specifies which data of yours are managed by the Controller, under what legal title, for what purposes, and in what way, and you can also receive information on your rights regarding the data processing and also on the way you can enforce them. Should you have any questions regarding the data processing, please do not hesitate to contact us using the below information.
Please note that the Controller will use the services of data processors for data processing as follows. The data processor shall follow the Controller’s instructions. The Controller shall be responsible for the activities of the data processor, as if it performed them itself.
In accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as GDPR), we hereby inform you of the following with regard to the processing of personal data: (This short Privacy Notice is a short excerpt of the Controller’s Data Management Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy), which aims to provide a concise notification to the Subject on the key data protection rules for the Controller. Registrations for the Technical Training shall be logged through the online registration platform. Minutes shall be taken of the training sessions, and shall be signed by the participants. After the training sessions have been completed, the participants shall receive a certificate proving their participation in the training. The Controller shall maintain his own records on the training sessions completed by each participant.

Time period of data management: The online registration data will be managed until the training is completed. The Attendance Sheet will be retained for 5 years (general expiry period). The Certificate of Attendance shall be given to the participant, and no copy shall be retained by the Controller. The Electronic Records on the participants’ information shall be retained while the legitimate interest of the Controller can be justified.
You have the following rights regarding this data processing:
We hereby inform you that where such consent is required, you have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data, which will not affect the lawfulness of the data processing performed with your consent prior to such withdrawal.
Right to access your personal data: You shall have the right to obtain confirmation from the Controller as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information referred to in the corresponding laws and regulations. Based on this, you have the right to contact the Controller and receive information on the management of your data, and to request access to your data.
Right to rectification of data: In case of any changes in your data, you shall have the right to request the rectification of your data at any time by disclosing the accurate data.
Right to erasure: You have the right to request the Controller to erase your data if the data processing is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected, if the data processing is unlawful, or the erasure is required by law.
Right to restriction of processing: You shall have the right to obtain restriction of processing from the Controller, where the data processing is unlawful, or where the Controller no longer needs the data for the purposes of the processing but they are required by you for the establishment of legal claims. Restriction of processing means that until the restriction is lifted, such data shall, with the exception of storage, only be processed for the establishment of legal claims.
Right to object to data processing: You shall have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. In such cases, the Controller shall investigate for each case individually, whether there are legitimate grounds to justify the need for the data processing.
Right to data portability: If the processing is based on your consent or the processing is necessary for performing a contract and data processing is automatic, you shall have the right to obtain the data concerning you and processed by the Controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and, furthermore, you shall have the right to transmit this data to another data controller without hindrance from the Controller. In exercising your right to data portability, you shall have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: You shall have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság). Judicial proceedings: You shall have the right to turn to a court if, according to your judgement, the Controller and/or the Data Processor authorised by or acting upon the instructions of the Controller breached the data processing regulations while managing your personal data.
Security of personal data
The Controller shall ensure the security of data. To achieve this, the Controller shall initiate the technical and organisational measures and establish the procedures necessary to enforce the governing laws and regulations, as well as the data protection and confidentiality rules. The Controller shall introduce the appropriate actions to protect the data from unauthorised access, alteration, transfer, publishing, deletion or destruction, as well as accidental destruction and damage, and inaccessibility due to any change in the technology used. The Controller shall ensure the enforcement of data security rules (also) through the internal policies, instructions, rules of procedure distinct in their content and form from the Data Management Policy and this Privacy Notice. In the process of defining and applying the data security measures, – unless it proves to be disproportionately difficult – the Controller shall take the current level of technological development into consideration and shall consider multiple data processing solutions before choosing the one that ensures a higher level of protection for the personal data.
